About the partner:
Norner is an independent industrial research institute based in Norway, specialising in polymer materials, plastics technology, recycling, sustainable materials and advanced analytical services.
It supports industry, public authorities and research partners through material development, testing, characterisation and environmental assessment. Norner brings experience in polymer processing, circular economy solutions, additive evaluation and occupational exposure studies linked to materials and manufacturing processes.
Role in BRISA:
Material and process development and validation partner for plastics technology
Norner provides expertise and industrially relevant facilities for polymer recycling, processing, characterisation and testing. It leads BRISA’s plastics recycling pilot, developing and validating stabilisation packages and devolatilisation strategies to reduce hazardous volatile emissions.
This work covers the value chain from waste handling to polymer processing and end-use applications. Norner also supports the modified feldspar pilot by testing the performance of the developed materials in plastic film applications.
